Teen's up-skirt pop
Her style was very pop, short jeans skirt, tanned skin, and looks in general resembled one of well-known teen stars, so I performed my usual tricks to see what's underneath and was very pleased

The issue of burqas has me torn.  I copelmtely see why these women are entitled to wear whatever they want, especially if it is religious purposes.  The penalties against the women, such as refusal of service in the community seems absurd to me.  Some people view their dress as  threatening  or  inappropriate  due to their assumption of it linking to terror.  I don t see these women being threatening.  They are simply living their lives and following customs.  Some Christians wear crosses around their necks; what if the government decided to ban this and have harsh punishments for wearing the accessory? That would cause uproar around the world.  On the inappropriate side, there are several girls in the world who dress inappropriately to me.  Who defines what is inappropriate though? To me, inappropriate dress is skimpy, revealing clothes by young girls with lack of respect for themselves.   Others see the burqa as inappropriate because people fear Muslims.  This fear branched from terror attacks against the United States.  I know for a fact that horrible crimes have been committed by people of other religions; this does not mean that every person who practices the religion should be feared.  That idea seems ridiculous to me.On the opposite side of the spectrum, if I was a French citizen and saw a woman dressed in this attire, I would hesitate and feel partially scared.  I know this is not  correct  of me, but I am just telling the truth.  It is how we are raised.  When something is different than what we are used to, or outside the norm, people hesitate to accept it.  I am not going to lie and say that I would not have these timid and uncertain ideas in my mind.  This brings up the point Sam made in class about political correctness.  It is not politically correct to judge a woman dressed in a  niqab  or  abeyya  or  hijab ; however, it still happens by many people, whether it is  right  or  wrong. Three out of five French citizens agree that it should be illegal for the Islamic veil to be worn.  Those numbers are out of control.  I don t know what the government can do about this issue.  A government can never please everyone; a ban of the clothing will please the three out of five French people, but what about the other two?  Even if it was passed, this also arises another issue; on the video they even mention how impossible it would be for the police to monitor the proposed ban of the attire.  Overall, this is obviously a tough decision for the government to make.  If these women aren t hurting anyone, I do not see a reason for there to be a ban of their clothing choice.
